The JATC is now offering the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program (EVITP). This Program is a 24-hour course geared toward certifying electricians for the installation of electric vehicle supply equipment across Residential, Commercial, and Public Markets. This area of our industry has been highlighted in both the Electrical Contractor, and The Electrical Worker.  I have attached a brochure which explains the program in more detail and the qualifications needed in order to become certified through the program.

The course consists of six, four-hour sessions on the following dates are Feb 15,16,22,23,29, and Mar 1.The cost for the course is 50 dollars. Please spread the word about the program so we may get the best participation possible.

Phase two of this program is scheduled to roll out in August of 2012 and will focus on the level III electric vehicle service equipment.
