Our IBEW journeymen learn their skilled trade through a 5 year Apprenticeship Program or an 6 to 8 year Construction Wireman/Construction Electricain Program. Both of these extensive training programs combine on-the-job practical experience and mentoring by State Certified Journeyman Wiremen with classroom theory and testing provided by the Austin Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee. The training doesn’t stop there. Continuing education constantly up-dates the union electrician’s skills through programs sponsored by the IBEW and NECA. The IBEW & NECA were instrumental in establishing mandatory state Licensing in Texas. We believe that our work is superior and we stand behind it!
