The AEJATC accepts applications year round for Apprenticeships into the electrical industry.
Prerequisites
To meet the minimum qualifications for apprenticeship, applicants must be able to perform the physical and mental essential functions of the job and be able to meet the following criteria:

Be a U.S. Citizen, or Lawful Resident Alien, or any other Alien authorized by the Immigration and Naturalization Service to hold employment. (must present your Social Security card)

Be a minimum of 17 years of age. Prior to being indentured, applicants selected from the pool of interviewed applicants must be at least 18 years of age.(must present your birth certicate)

Be a High School graduate, hold a GED certificate or have a 2-year Associate Degree or higher. (must furnish any transcripts)**

Provide a state approved photo ID.

Show evidence of one full year of High School Algebra with a passing grade, one post High School Algebra coarse with a passing grade, successful completion of the NJATC technical math coarse, or equivalent passing score of 75 on the technical math proficiency evaluation.
Military Veterans, with a minimum of 2 years of service, must provide service separation paper DD214 to be eligible for VA Benefits.
Prior to being indentured, applicants selected from the pool of interviewed applicants will be required to pass a drug test as directed by the AEJATC.
